Being a mother branch of dentistry, prosthodontic department deals with replacement of missing intra oral structures like missing teeth and soft tissue and extra oral structures like ear, eye, nose, fingers. Department provides facilities to UG & PG students to deal with clinical and laboratory competencies required for fabrication of complete denture, removable partial denture, cast partial denture, fixed crown and bridge, implant supported fixed and removable prosthesis. Department is doing extensive work for extra oral maxillo-facial prosthesis and Obturators for mucormycosis and post carcinoma resection patients. Department organizes CDE programmes and interdepartmental seminar for enrichment of student’s knowledge at regular interval. Department is also providing service to Jail patients and many times tries to give complete denture to needy who are coming from far distance in one day, which usually require 15 to 20 days time.
